My brother has terrible acn..

I'm currently 16 and I'm happy to say that I have awesome, clear skin :D. On the other hand, my brother has had very severe acne ever since he started high school (he is 21 now and still has acne) My dad had bad acne too when he was young, but my mom had very clear skin.

I'll admit, my period isn't quite regular yet(I've heard breakouts are connected with periods). Am I just really lucky to have my mom's clear skin, or if and when my period becomes regular will I develop my dad and brother's bad skin?

my son has been using pine tar soap for a lil over a month now. it has really helped clear it up. he had it really bad. huge sores on his face, back and some on his arms and chest. you can get it thru your pharmacy. it costs about $4 a bar and a bar can last 3-4 wks.

be happy that you have clear skin. your acne may get worse, but probably not to the extent of your male relative. you inhereted the y chromosome from your mother, so no, your skin will ot get as bad
